April 14th, 2nd Wednesday, and name a “new star,” a first for us.
Evergreen Chapter was the spot to be tonight. A total of 36 people were present to learn the answer to Riddle #1. Brother Dick and I along with the help of the announcement team of Jack "CarnJack", Elaine and Harold searched for the answer to the question.
After much "fall-di-raw", we determined the answer and had the extreme pleasure of announcing that Brother Harold Hill will be the new Grand Chaplain for the coming year.
Present for the evening was one PGP, Brother Paul Runyan, along with escort Sister Barbara, one elected Grand Officer, Sister Marsha Haukaas, and three appointed Grand Officers, Glenda Miller, Stella Brown, and John Chamberlain who came straight from work.
Besides Brother John, our present Grand Chaplain, we also has Brother Clayton Sparks, junior past Grand Chaplain in attendance.
It as a fun time and Sister Becky and Brother Nick Goddard are real troopers to "take the heat" so well on their first meeting. It was a memorable evening.
