Good afternoon,
I went straight to the hospital this afternoon when I got back into town. The family had gone to lunch so I waited. Soon Clark, June's brother, came in as he had just arrived from Arizona. Shortly Ken came back from lunch.
Ken said, that June is not as responsive this morning as she was yesterday afternoon. She is still heavily sedated. The good news is that her oxygen level is up. The doctors were hoping to give her some breathing tests this afternoon, but that will be determined at that time. Ken also said that the clot is dissolving. I asked about any of it getting into her lungs. He said that it is turning it into mush and that it will go into the capillaries and just continue to dissolve. That made me feel better.
June has past the 48 hour mark and the longer it is the better. Ken said that if she makes it she will be one of 3% who do make it.
Ken was much more himself today. He is so thankful for all the cards, calls, and prayers. Keep them coming as he needs them now and June will deeply appreciate it later.
Miracles do happen.
Chocolate Hugs & Kisses,
Diane Osborne
Keep those prayers going!
