The merger of Rada Uphus with Occidental will be on Wednesday, June 5th at 7:30 pm.  We would love to have a nice turnout for our last "official" act, we think.

Corinthian and Cedar chapters would like to invite you to Gove hall in Tacoma for our Official Visit and the Merger of our two chapters on December 13 @ 7:30pm. We will start the evening with a taco salad bar @ 6pm by donation with the proceeds going to the WGM & WGP projects. We hope to see you there!

Sunday, February 12 - King County Line Officers Friendship Dinner
It was beck to the 40's and WWII as everyone gathered for a delicious meatloaf dinner and auction at Alki Masonic Center in West Seattle.  What a great time we had and the costumes and decorations were first rate!

Thursday, February 16 - Merger - Everett into Alderwood
The Chapter was full as Everett Chapter merged with Alderwood Chapter.  The members of Everett Chapter formed a circle around the altar with the members of Alderwood in a circle around them.  The Grand Officers formed a circle with golden chains around them.  Upon direction from the Worthy Grand Matron, the members of Everett Chapter moved back into the circle with Alderwood and they became one Chapter.  It was a beautiful and moving ceremony and we wish the newly merged Chapter the best to come in the future.

Saturday, February 17 - Martha Club Luncheon
The Martha Club had a luncheon to honor Grand Martha Jeannette Carroll at the Ballard Masonic Center.  A delicious meal was served and the proceeds of the luncheon will be used to for New Beginnings - a charity that helps support victims of domestic violence.  The luncheon was a well deserved honor for a wonderful sister.

Saturday, February 17 - Reception for Grand Conductress
Pigs were flying all over the Edmonds Masonic Center as Analia Chapter held a great celebration for Grand Conductress Stephanie Hoye.  Laughter was the theme of the day and there was lots of it along with about 300 members and friends.  We had the pleasure of listening to Bill Davis roast Grand Escort Don Etchison.  Wonderful responses were given by the WGM, WGP, Brian Gross - PGP and GGCCM, Beverly Haave - PGM, Tom Schenewerk - PGP and the mystery speaker Grand Adah Cindy Schneider.  Afterwards there were delicious refreshments - sandwiches and salads prepared by the Portrait Grand Family and served by the Starlight Grand Family, and cupcakes and cookies prepared by the members of Analia Chapter.  It was a wonderful day and the Grand Conductress is very grateful for everyone who helped and who took the time to attend.

MERGER UPDATE

It will be a joint merger ceremony on Friday, April 29th at Manito Masonic Temple in Spokane starting at 7:30 PM. Davenport Chapter will merger into Adelphi Chapter and then after a short break White Rose Chapter will merge into Spokane Chapter. The StarLight Grand Officers will perform both merger ceremonies. Please come support these four chapters as they go forward.

Friday, April 29th at 7:30 PM there will be a merger ceremony at Adelphi Chapter in Spokane. The members of Davenport Chapter will be merging with Adelphi Chapter. The StarLight Grand Officers will perform the ceremony. Please come support these two chapters as they embark on a new beginning.

Been under the weather with the crud and then out of town on business, so sorry about the lack of updates and thank you to Mary Ellen Sparks for keeping everything going in my absence.

Merger announcement

The ceremony of the merger of Montesano Chapter into Centralia Chapter will take place at the Centralia Masonic Center on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 7:30 pm.  Please join the Chapters as they come together.

2010 - 03-29 - Merger Olympic into Reliance

(Unofficial count) Over 120 members gathered in Bremerton to celebrate the merger of Olymipc Chapter into Reliance Chapter. After opening, we were delighted to have Kris Hoots Thomas's daughter Katriana (Marilyn & Bill's grandaughter) sing 2 wonderful songs for us. She is very talented and poised and received a standing ovation from a happy audience.

The merger started with the members of Olympic in a circle inside the labyrinth.

Then the members of Reliance formed a circle around them.
The Grand Officers and escorts formed a golden chain around all of them and the members of Olympic and Reliance formed one large circle as WGM Marge performed the merger ceremony.

Afterwards, the members of Reliance Chapter welcomed their new members with gifts.

The Kitsap-Mason WMs and WPs of 2009-10 - led by Jim Zachau of Priscilla in his finest headdress yet, gave everyone eggs.



It was a very fun evening filled with fun, laughter and friendship.

Merger - Warren into Tyler Chapter - Feb. 18, 2010

More than 115 members gathered at Tyler Chapter in University Place to participate in the merger of Warren Chapter into Tyler Chapter. After Tyler's WM Linda Ellison and WP John Zimmerman lead their officers through the regular opening, introductions and business, they handed the gavel over to WGM Marge perform the merger ceremony.

Grand Marshal Peggy Mills first conducted the members of Warren Chapter, lead by their WM Marilyn Avery and WP and PGP Terry Wiggins, to form a circle around the altar within the labyrinth. Then she conducted the members of Tyler Chapter to form a circle around the outside of the labyrinth. WGP Dennis then did a beautiful job of leading the members of the 2 Chapters in the initiatory obligation.

After that, the Grand Officers and Escorts formed a golden chain around the members of the 2 Chapters and Grand Chaplain John Chamberlain led us in prayer.

The members of Warren Chapter stepped back into the circle formed by Tyler Chapter and the Worthy Grand Matron proclaimed the merger completed

PGM Kit Wells was pleased to attend the merger since her WGP was Cecil Black from Tyler Chapter and she is an honorary member. She enjoyed posing with PGP Terry Wiggins.
