Many members have been wondering about the status on Duane
Nelson since Grand Chapter. Here is an
update given to me by WM Barbara Burleigh of Vida Chapter. Duane was taken to the hospital in Yakima on
Wednesday of Grand Chapter and remained there until that Sunday. Since coming home he had gall bladder surgery
on August 9th and was to go home on Saturday, August 11th. He would enjoy cards and is listed as AP of
Vida Chapter in the 2011-12 Blue Book.
For those who don’t know Duane you might know him as one the guys who “runs”
the hand microphones on the floor during Grand Chapter. He has done so for several years. Duane is the current WP of Vida Chapter.
