Over 70 members and visitors traveled to Anacortes as Madrona Chapter honored their own brother Gerald Guthrie, Grand Representative of New Brunswick in Washington.
There were several current Grand Representatives present.
And even more former Grand Representatives.
Gerald's family was proud to attend - including his new great grandson Travis.
We were entertained with two beautiful songs from Lilynne Davis. Then Mr. and Mrs. Rob Morris came out and provided a glimpse of the history of Eastern Star's founding for us along with their personal history. It was very interesting and well done by Kay Johnson and Warren Lee.
Great responses were given by Jean Ballard for the Grand Representatives, Bev Baller for the Grand Officers, Diane Osborne for the Past Grands and WGP Dennis Okicich.
The meeting was preceeded by a baked potato bar for a donation and ended with delicious desserts. We all had a wonderful time.
