I have only two more days to take reservations for the Watcom County Christmas Luncheon next Tuesday, December 6th. As always, it is at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club at noon, cost $20.00 - they can pay at the door - checks payable to Sheila Kelly. I am starting to panic since I have to call the total in by early Saturday (12-3) morning. They can call (360-366-3501) or e-mail (sheilakelly@earthlink.net) me. Thanks!

We had a great time at the honor night for Bob Lindsey of Vida Chapter representing Utah in Washington. The room was full and the responders delighted in giving Bob a hard time, but also in telling everyone what a great guy he is and how hard he works for our Order.

PRAYERS NEEDED!!!
Tuesday November 22, 2011 update after talking with Doctor.
MRI is negative for the scan of her spine. Great news. This has been categorized as stage 4 Breast cancer, as it has traveled to the brain. The best treatment is exactly what we are doing right now. We still must wait for the final pathology report on the lymph nodes that were taken, however Dr. said that initial report shows negative for lymphoma.
The doctor and I have talked with mom and explained several things, with this said, Mom is in very good spirits this morning and seems to be getting stronger by the day. Thanksgiving for us will be right here so Don and I with the help of my brothers (they don't know it yet) will be smuggling in good food for Mom.
Just saw this from Lynette Zierden of Grand Coulee Dam Chapter about her mom Carole Fisher.
Mom is in the hospital in Spokane Sacred heart . She has started radiation for several lesions in the brain, and is still undergoing testing. yesterday they discovered a couple of lymph nodes in the center breast bone area and one under her left arm that appear to be affected. This somewhat indicates that the cancer may be in the breast area again and traveled to the brain. There is also a nodule on her thyroid and a aneurysm in her stomach area.
Today she will have a bone scan and another MRI in the spine and back area. At this point I believe they are looking for every place the cancer may have traveled too. I will try to keep everyone up to date when I can.
Prayers needed,
Lynette

2011 - 11-17 OV Reliance Chapter
The Bremerton Masonic Center was filled with happy people last night as Reliance Chapter celebrated the official visit of WGM Gloria with WGM Frank. There were mice everywhere and the postman paid them a visit - although he seemed a bit confused about the recipient of the package until he was pointed in the direction of the WGM. The officers did a beautiful job of the long form opening and everyone had a great time.

New Grand Representative
I had the pleasure to travel to Henry Wentworth Chapter on Nov 16th to present Penny Norvell the commission as Grand Representative to the Grand Chapter of Australia. As I walked down from the east and part way around the room, I sang the first lines of several state songs. The members assisted by shouting “NO – That’s Not It. TRY AGAIN!” after each one until I sang, “Tie Me Kangaroo Down, sport”. The shout was “Hurray, THAT’S IT”. Thanks to Robin Jessup, for directing them. As I neared the east, I sang, “Waltzing with Penny” and escorted her to the podium. I’m not sure when Penny realized what was happening! There were about 52 people in attendance and PGM Beverly Haave (Former GR to Australia) was there to offer special congratulations to the new Grand Representative. It was the end to a fun meeting.

2011 - Nov 12 - Reception for Jim Iversen - Grand Chaplain
It was a wonderful afternoon at the Burlington comunity center as we all celebrated our Grand Chaplain Jim Iversen. The room was packed as Mount Baker Chapter celebrated their honored member. Lots of prayers were offered - some more serious than others - and everyone had lots of laughs. Jim nearly had a heart attack when AGM Gerry Mosler got up to respond for him, but she was only kidding and Gr. Organist Marjorie Bamford did the real response. It was a great day and everyone had fun.

With timbrels and with lots of dancing, Key City and a whole lot of others had a great time at the reception for Cindy Schneider, Grand Adah of Washington. The theme for the afternoon was Dancing with the Stars and all groups were judged on their dancing skills as they were presented for introductions. The winner was ----- Grand Adah, but the rest of us think the vote was rigged! But, we all had a great time and enjoyed a beautiful day at Fort Worden in Pt. Townsend.

We had a great time in Edmonds last night as Analia and Doric enjoyed their OV from the WGM with the WGP. There were over 80 members present and the WGM appointed so many worker bee's she'll need a really big hive at Grand Chapter to contain them all. Afterwards there were delicious salads and desserts downstairs for everyone to enjoy.
