Friday evening, August 3rd, was an exceptionally warm and fraternally
convivial evening during the Official Visit of the Worthy Grand Matron
at Centralia & Chehalis Chapters. As the current Grand Representatives were
presented and introduced, and before they were returned to their place
in the Chapter, I interrupted the Worthy Matron and asked if we might
add to this august group. After a few comparisons of the similarities
of flora and fauna and fruit crops between our two states, I had the
privilege of presenting a West Virginia Grand Representative commission
to a very stunned and most pleasantly surprised Bro. Vern Young of
Centralia Chapter.
